Received a call this morning, the 17th of March 2019, just after nine o'clock. The caller claimed to be from BT, my internet service provider, even though I'm actually with Virgin Media. They were eager for me to turn on my computer and grant them access, but I firmly declined. The chap was quite relentless, even suggesting I sounded anxious. I maintained my politeness while asserting that the discussion had ended, then promptly ended the call. Quite the nuisance!
