8 yearsJust got a ring from what seemed like a proper Manchester landline. It took a bit longer than normal to pick up, like the call was being bounced overseas then back again. I’d already said ‘hello’ when an Indian-accented woman asked for ‘Mrs Dr###’. I told her ‘no you can’t speak to her’ and then she just ended the call. I called the number back and spoke to a lady who said they were Perkins Engines. She said their number’s been used fraudulently and they’re already getting loads of calls about it.
