Really freaked me out as they knew my full name and address. They said it was about a PPI claim from 2014 and even gave me a phone number and reference code to ring back. But I’ve never put in any PPI claim. The number they gave is linked to a UK firm that actually shut down in 2022 (thank you, Google!). Plus, the name they mentioned on the call didn’t match the company registered to that number. I’m pretty sure this is a scam, but could be wrong. Just be cautious if you get a call like this.
