I got a call from someone claiming to be from Legal and General, saying they were doing a review. Sounded dodgy so I blocked the number, but then they rang me again on my mobile. The number seems like it’s from a landline, which makes me even more suspicious. Total scam, watch out!

I keep getting calls from numbers that differ by just a single digit each time - total scam stuff. They’re obviously trying the same trick over and over, but every one of those numbers is now blocked from my phone. Honestly, you’d think they’d get the message that no one wants to deal with their rubbish. The government really needs to take stronger action against these scams, it’s getting ridiculous.

In the past week, they've called me about seven times without leaving a single message. This morning, they phoned again but hid their number. When I answered, the person said because they couldn’t verify who I was, they couldn’t explain the purpose of the call. They mentioned they work with lots of firms - from insurance to pensions and claims - but insisted they weren’t cold callers or scammers. Honestly, they sound like total cold callers to me. I’ve just blocked the number.
