They rang me up twice claiming I was eligible for a refund on some credit I supposedly used. When I told them I hadn’t taken out any credit, they got a bit flustered and then started going on about insurance, credit cards, and some paid packages with my bank or something. I asked them to take my number off their list, but she just didn’t reply and hung up.

Yesterday, I rang this number back and a voice claimed it was some claims bureau. I asked them nicely to stop ringing me but they just ignored what I said and phoned again today. I’m seriously thinking of reporting them to Ofcom now.

If you don't pick up straight away, they'll go and hang up for you. They just disconnect as soon as you say hello.

My phone just picked up the call by itself, is this some kind of new scam or what? Seems like people are taking over phones now. I'm definitely going to file a complaint with Ofcom about this.

So weird, my phone somehow picked up the call all by itself, I wasn’t even touching the screen! I’ve seen this happen a couple times now. Really dodgy stuff going on with these companies, they’re not playing fair at all.
