I missed a call from this number but didn’t know who it was so I checked it here. Judging by the other comments, it could be Amazon, an insurance firm or maybe a funeral service. I’m going to block it because I get far too many scam calls already and since lockdown, it’s been like 6 every day, both morning and afternoon. Calling about funerals during this pandemic is really tactless. Please stop ringing me!

Got a cold call off Prosperous Life about a funeral plan. They wanted to set up a home visit with one of their reps, who’d probably try to push an expensive deal with the typical hard sell tactics. Seen a piece in the Daily Mail from Nov 19 that blew the lid on their dodgy sales methods. Best to steer well clear.

Since it’s a landline, why hasn’t the matter been handed over to the ICO or Ofcom to sort out? If everyone played their part, this wouldn’t be an issue.
