I’m a bit puzzled, to be honest. Today’s been a right nuisance with countless dodgy calls flashing up on my phone-Vodafone, Sky, you name it. There was even one call I opted to ignore. It feels like my number’s been compromised somehow, possibly leaked from some database or other. Quite frustrating, really!

Got this annoying call, not sure if it’s something dodgy or not. The same number called me the day before but didn’t leave a message on my answerphone. When I picked up the next day, a young woman spoke and actually knew my name. She started asking if I’d ever worked with machines. I said no, and she was pretty persistent, almost shocked, then asked if anyone in my family had been in a factory for more than 5 years. I told her no and said goodbye. Then, less than two minutes later, she rang me back again!

Some bloke claiming to be a divorce lawyer called from this number askin for my husband by name. He refused to talk to me and said my husband had requested the call (which I doubt). Got a call from someone asking if I'd ever been employed in heavy industry. When I asked what for, she claimed it was some survey about Industrial Injuries, like hearing loss. I soon figured she was dodgy, so I told her I hadn’t worked in that kind of place, said I wasn’t interested, and ended the call. Later, I checked the number on 1471. Pretty clear it was a scammer or phishing attempt. Definitely a phone number to watch out for.

Weird bit of luck maybe, but I got a phone call mentioning "hearing." It was all a bit unclear, mumbling mostly.
