I've been getting missed calls from these lot every day and when I called back, some woman with a foreign accent said she was from something called the Community Money Advice Bureau. Right, and I’m the Queen. I told her to remove me from their list, but all she kept going on about was "do you want to hear why we rang you?" I said no, just take me off your database. I ended the call. Proper fed up of going around in circles, it made me dizzy.

I got a call from someone claiming I’d registered for some online service. When I asked them questions, they got all flustered and just kept repeating the same lines like they were reading from a script. In the end, I hung up and blocked the number.

Got a missed call from this number around 7 in the evening. Rang back thinking it might be something to do with work, since it’s a Manchester area code. They said they could sort out all my debts. Told them to remove my details, ended the call and blocked them straight away. Total con.

I called back and the automated voice said the firm was called Vivacity, but when I got through, the person on the other end said the company was Wilson. I told her she was actually ringing an emergency mobile for a company and was holding the line up.

Got a call from someone about sorting out my debts. I told a lady with a thick accent that I don't owe anything. She kept saying she could see all my debts and asked when I paid them off. I said she should tell me what they are since I have no idea. Then she just hung up on me.

Then he started talking about the increasing price of funerals. Turns out the full company name is Prosperous Life Funeral Planning, and they’re actually pushing funeral plans. Honestly, no one checks in with a random person just to be friendly - there’s always a catch when they do that.

Got a call from prosperous life funeral planning. They claimed it wasnt a sales call but it definitely was. They told me I'd agreed to get the call, which I hadn't. I ended up explaining data protection rules to them and have filed a complaint with the information commissioner.
