01617685177 Called me with an Asian accent, claimed to be from BT Openreach about my internet router. I asked what it was regarding and he just repeated himself. I told him I had no idea what he meant and that I had nothing to do with BT, then he just hung up. I guess no-one informed him that BT Openreach covers everything or maybe he realised I wasn’t worth the effort to scam. These kinda calls really get on my nerves!

I nicely said I wasn’t interested and requested they took my number off their list. They just ignored that and kept trying to chat about the plans. I’ve blocked this number, but they keep ringing me at least a couple times daily. I don’t pick up. The calls seem to go to voicemail (I get a notification from 02), but no message has ever been left. Such a pain. Honestly, these call centres should be closed for good. The final straw was when I was switching from the M6 to the M56 motorway, my phone went off and, since I couldn’t decline the call, it was automatically answered.
