Got into a car crash last July, other driver was at fault - they admitted it and insurance sorted everything. Still, this number keeps ringing me about claiming compensation for ‘soft tissue injuries’ - they say the other driver tried to claim but was denied because they accepted blame, so now I supposedly qualify for it! Told them they’re scammers and to buzz off but they keep ringing anyway, so I just ignore. They also called from a 0345 number which I’ve blocked. Honestly think this lot should be reported for fraud.

They ring me loads of times every day. I never pick up but figured it’s about a crash I was involved in a while back. When I tried ringing them back, some robotic voice said it was "Simply Protect" and to wait to get through. Complete rubbish! Don’t bother answering! Just a total waste of time!

Quite alarming and menacing. After I merely said hello and expressed my difficulty in hearing, they responded with some rather unnerving comments. They remarked something along the lines of, "Are you trying to mess with me? I've got your number now, and I'm going to make sure you won't forget it." It gave me quite the scare. I had my partner on speakerphone to ensure they could hear the unsettling exchange, as I could easily have been someone more vulnerable, like an elderly person or someone with special needs. I’ll certainly be reporting this incident to the authorities. The call was left open, rendering my phone useless until they finally hung up, after which I dialed 1471.

Got a call from a supposed Manchester number about PPI, but the bloke had a strong Indian accent at first. When I joked about the weather there, he switched it up and claimed they were in South Africa, speaking in what sounded like a very dodgy African accent. Proper fishy!

Received a call from some PPI chancers using a bogus Manchester number. The chap on the line kicked off with an Indian twang, so I cheekily inquired about the weather in his neck of the woods. To my surprise, he claimed they were actually operating out of South Africa and then launched into a rather suspect African accent. Quite the performance, I must say!
