Had a missed call and was curious to find out who it was.

Got a call from someone using my first name, saying they were from Stockport Hospital. They said there’s a new ward that needs money and asked if I could donate about £8 a month through direct debit to their ‘charity’. Something about it just didn’t sit right, felt like a total scam. The number they called from was 01617682485.

I got a call from someone asking for a donation to St Anne's Hospice. When I said no, they got pretty pushy and refused to tell me their name. Then they just cut me off. I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from 0161 768 2485, they asked for my first name which is Peter. They claimed to be from Saint Annes Hospices and said they were phoning to ask for a donation. Seemed fishy though because they wouldn’t tell me their full name, and the number doesn’t match Saint Annes at all. Definitely a scam in my opinion.
