Got a cold call the other day. Told them I’d just had my life insurance sorted out a couple weeks back with good rates. They tried to hang on, challenging me that they could offer a better deal. When I told them they were wasting my time and I really didn’t care, the person got all cocky. Asked to speak to a manager instead. The manager turned out to be even more clueless and rude than the first caller. I just ended the call right there.

i don’t pick up numbers i don't recognize - simple rule i’ve stuck to for like 3 years now. if it’s really important, the person will just send a text or leave a voicemail anyway. sticking to this has made life a whole lot easier!
