Got a call from Alex at Greener Energy, said I owned my place and wanted to chat about solar panels. I told him I wasn’t interested but he just kept going, so I hung up. They’ve been ringing me nearly every day since June started. I block one number and then they ring from a different one. Proper annoying.

like some others mentioned, they were saying you can save about £800 on your energy costs but then switched to talking about heat pumps. also they were wrong about gas ending in 2025 which is not true.

Got a call from this firm earlier today. They addressed me by my first name, even though I never gave them the go-ahead for that. My number’s on the TPS list, yet they kept pushing to carry on the chat. It was about renewable energy, apparently. I said I was working from home and pretended to take another call on my mobile, but they said they’d wait. I left them hanging for about 10 minutes and even knocked on the door to sound like someone was visiting. Still didn’t back off. Eventually, I just told them I wasn’t interested and ended it.

This guy called me offering to help me save like £800 a year on energy through some scheme. I told him I wasn’t keen on solar panels (seems like that’s what most of these calls push). When he asked why, I said there’s a huge tree in my garden that blocks sunlight from reaching the roof (bit of truth there, it's about 65ft tall, though it doesn’t cover the whole roof completely) and then I just ended the call.

I received a call from a chap named Jordan Cross, representing the Safer Homes Initiative, who wanted to discuss my eligibility for a government grant aimed at renewable energy projects. However, he was rather evasive about sharing his phone number or a specific address, only mentioning that he was calling from somewhere in Manchester. After quite a bit of back and forth regarding this information, I requested to speak with his supervisor. I was then connected to Adam Campbell at the Leeds office, yet he too was reluctant to provide any details about his location or contact number, claiming he didn’t even know where the Manchester office was situated. Since my last post yesturday, these lot have called me twice more today, even after i told them im unemployed and asked if they still wanted to chat. Guess their boss is that desperate for cash, he’s having his team ring unemployed folks 3 or 4 times daily. Im done posting about this number - consider yourself warned about the sort of ‘low lifes’ you’re dealing with here.

I haven’t a clue who this might be... but with the sheer volume of calls I receive from UNKNOWN numbers, sometimes hitting 15 a week, it’s becoming quite the nuisance. Just last week, I had the misfortune of picking up a call from an 0113 number. When I mentioned I was jobless, the caller abruptly apologised for 'disturbing me.' Now today, I thought I’d give it another go and answered this number with, "If I were to say I'm unemployed, do you reckon..." At that point, they hung up straight away. I can’t help but think these calls are from folks keen to peddle something you supposedly ‘need’, but of course, it comes with a price... **DO NOT ENGAGE**. It’s far more economical - if they're genuinely trying to reach you, they’ll leave a voicemail!
