Got a ring from this number earlier, some bloke with a scouse accent looking for ‘Mr xxxxx’. Since my dad and I share the same last name, I asked which one he meant. He said ‘Mr J xxxxx’ - must have been my grandad. The moment I said he’d been gone almost 18 years, the guy quickly ended the call!

Today, my elderly parents got a call from someone saying they were from the tax office. They told them their home was in danger and a warrant would be issued for their arrest unless they handed over £13k. Thankfully, they didn't fall for it, but it really shook them up. This kind of scam needs to be dealt with quickly.

this morning about 9.45 i got a call from this number. the person claimed to be with uk property service and started with “how are you today?”, which instantly made me wary! before he could go on, i interrupted and asked how he had my details since i'm on the tps list. he quickly said sorry for ringing and hung up. like others have said, these sorts of calls really shouldn’t be happening at all.
