I got a call from someone claiming to be from a home repair service. They definitely knew my name, but the accent sounded really strong, maybe Bangladeshi or somewhere in that region. Feels like it might be one of those dodgy overseas scam calls.

got a call from this number today, they knew my name right away. when i asked who it was, they said they were from something called the housing repair centre, dealing with repairs on rented homes like council or private ones. i told them i wasn’t renting and that even if i was, any repairs should be sorted by the landlord. after that, they just hung up. def a spam call in my book.
