Just got a call from what I reckon is a scammer, probably based in India, pushing some dodgy service to rip folks off. Total scam!

My mum just got duped out of her cash a couple of times after giving her card details to this outfit called ‘Sante Seniors’. They’re some French company sending stuff that’s nothing like what they charged her for. Feels like they’re targeting older folks, probably selling addresses and numbers all over the place. Proper dodgy!

Got a call from this number earlier, someone was asking for my husband using his full name. The accent was really thick and I couldn’t make out the caller’s name at all. Thing is, my husband has been gone for over 17 years now. How do these people even get our details? When I said there’s no one here by that name anymore, the caller just went silent. I just ended the call after that.

This number keeps ringing me up, and it’s always an Indian woman asking for Mrs Platt Harold - honestly! She seems totally unaware that Harold Platt was my husband and has passed away. She goes on and on about some product I supposedly bought - which I definitely didn’t - and then tries to slyly get my bank card details to “confirm” the number she’s got, which she refuses to share with me. It’s so frustrating. When I refuse to hand over my info, she starts sounding a bit rude and pushy. Really fed up with these calls.

Calling my 80 year old mother in law repeatedly asking for her bank info to send a Christmas package. She’s been phoned 4 times just today. I lost it twice on the phone but they still had the cheek to ring again. Reported them to trading standards tho not sure if it’ll help. Targeting elderly folks like that is just awful.

Something should really be done about this, they’re going after older folks like my mum. The police or government ought to get involved now.

The number seemed local, but I reckon it was actually from some call centre abroad, likely in Pakistan. A bloke with a strong Pakistani accent asked for an elderly gentleman who used to live at my place. I’m not interested in dodgy calls from strangers overseas, especially when it’s hard to make out what they’re saying. He seemed like he was trying to take advantage of the previous occupant. I told him his English wasn’t clear, then just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

This morning, my elderly aunt got about 5 calls while her carer was there with her. The callers were all asking for her bank info to supposedly deliver a package. The carer rang me straight away and I checked online to see if they were legit. Turns out, they definitely weren't!

Got a call from some pushy sales people who were proper rude to my nan, who's 85. They kept trying to get her personal info and kept pushing stuff she never agreed to. I stepped in, tried to get their details, but they wouldn't say who they were or the company name. Told them to stop calling, and the rep shouted back, “Yeah, I’ll call you again tonight.” So I called the number back and complained, but still no clue who they actually were since they kept silent about their business.

This morning, I got hit with three calls in a row from someone claiming to be "Jason Griffin" representing "Health Senior Company". They’ve rung me before, trying to get your credit card info to "verify" your details so they can supposedly sort out an "order" and delivery. These guys are really pushy and I’m convinced they’re tricking loads of vulnerable folk with this scam. BE CAREFUL and whatever you do, don’t hand over any personal info to these dishonest scammers. I’m currently looking into who they really are and where they’re based to try and stop this mess. - Caller ID showed Jason Griffin from a so-called Health Senior Company.

So today at about 9.25am on 20th October 2015, I got a call from someone looking for Mrs Baguley. I told them my mum had died, and without a word, they just hung up on me. The strange thing is, they called me first! I decided to call the number back to complain, but it just went to an automated message saying it was a call centre and all the operators were tied up. Cheers, Stephen Baguley.
