pretty sure they grabbed my details from some kind of public database about who owns web domains. because of that, i pretty much ignore any calls from numbers i don't know anymore. instead, i check this site first to suss out who’s calling and what they're trying to sell me lol. add another one to the blocked numbers pile!

scam: got a call where they actually used my name right away (not sure how they found that out). the guy said he needed to discuss some online trading account issues with me. i found it quite funny since ive never signed up for anything like that. then his voice got all serious and said, "i don’t find this amusing at all." sounded like he was gearing up to say i owed them something. i just laughed again and told him i thought it was a joke. he just ended the call after that.

First, they ask you to download this trading app, then they say they'll connect you to some financial expert to help you out. But don’t expect them to stick around long; they'll end up hanging up eventually. I did manage to keep the guy on the line for about 10 minutes before he finally gave up.

Someone called me about trading currency online but they wouldn’t tell me their name. Felt a bit dodgy if you ask me.

They rang around half ten at night, I didn’t even pick up since I’d already blocked the number, but it looks like they’re managing to call anyway.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise but they didn’t bother leaving a message. So annoying - it was literally 3 minutes before Love Island finished!

Got a really annoying caller so I tried to block the number but couldn’t cos the block option was grayed out or something. Ended up saving it to my contacts first, then I was able to block and delete it. Bit weird but works.

I got a call around 10 at night, but when I picked up, there was no one there. Pretty sure it was some annoying telemarketer or just a pointless prank.
