I received a call from 0161 767 0387, claiming to be from Open Reach regarding my telephone line. However, the voice on the other end had an accent that felt rather off, which instantly raised my suspicions. To top it all off, there was a noticeable pause before they answered when I called back, and they didn’t even know my name! I told them plainly that I suspected they were up to no good.
