At about 12.21 this afternoon I got a call from someone named Jenny claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. It seemed dodgy so I just blocked the number straight away. Definitely felt like a scam call.

I got a voicemail about my internet service, claiming they’d been trying to reach me and were about to cut off my connection. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Scam was about my IP address being hacked. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

So this number rang me up and the person said pretty much the same things others have mentioned. I told them I was trying to reach my supplier. Apparently it's linked to a coax call or something. Whatever you do, don’t follow their instructions or you might end up with some nasty virus on your device.

Got a voicemail warning me my IP address was at risk and to avoid pressing 4 on the call. They said if I did, it would hang up on me. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Just ignore those calls asking you to press 1, total internet scam rubbish. Best not to say anything back.

Got this recorded message warning me that my IP address was at risk and I'd be cut off if I didn't press 4. I just hung up right away, didn’t want to take any chances.

Got a call from someone claiming my wifi was getting cancelled. When I rang back, turns out it was a proper bloke who'd been dealing with the exact same issue. Bit mad, really!
