When I picked up, they claimed it had to do with my life insurance, but I don’t have one. I got suspicious and started asking questions, then suddenly they just ended the call. Seems like a total scam to me.

Seems like any phone number beginning with 01617 is just another telemarketer - I’ve already had seven calls from them today alone! I honestly assumed the endless cold calls would have stopped once the whole PPI thing finished, but guess I was totally mistaken!
