after i rang the john lewis call centre to see if they could hold something for me at the trafford centre, they actually called me back, which was pretty handy.

cold calls would probably disappear if no one ever gave them the time of day. but since there’s always someone who answers or listens, these callers keep trying. personally, i never bother with them, and if a business keeps ringing me out of the blue or sending junk mail, i make a point of not using their services - done that quite a few times now.
