I received a call on my landline from someone claiming to be my mortgage provider, but I know for a fact that my actual lender is based in Plymouth! I attempted to return the call, only to find the line engaged throughout the day. It all feels rather dodgy, if you ask me. There’s definitely something off about this number.

Without a doubt, this must be the debt recovery agency affiliated with the Co-op Bank. Recently, I had a mishap with my loan payment due to a house move, and now these chaps have been incessantly ringing me for over four months, despite the fact that my loan is completely settled. Best to avoid answering their calls, as they don’t respond even if you do pick up - what’s the rationale behind that? Are they simply trying to track my location, perhaps with some sort of GPS? Who on earth is bothered by that? It’s nothing short of harassment!
