Some kind of timeshare nonsense. Normally I wouldn’t bother answering but since it showed as local, I did. She told me Club la Costa is in administration. She was reasonably polite and ended the call once she saw I wasn’t impressed wasting my time, unlike others who’ve had the bad luck to get stuck talking to them.

Was one of them timeshare calls, I didn’t even let her speak once she mentioned it, just ended the call straight away and blocked the number after that.

Got two calls today just minutes apart. I told them I keep getting calls from timeshare places which just waste my time. I said she can go on chatting if she wants to waste hers. Then she said I was aggressive and called me a complete idiot before hanging up. Another person from the same place called right after with the same script, so I asked to speak to a manager and told them about the earlier call. I guessed they wouldn’t put me through - and I was right! If they ring again, I’ll give them a fake timeshare address and mess them about.

Got a call on my mobile just when I was on the home phone. Didn’t bother to leave any message. After seeing what others have said, I’m defo blocking this number.

Got a call from this timeshare help centre saying Diamond Resorts should be refunding maintenance charges to folks who couldn’t actually book any holidays. They’re setting up a chat next Friday, just to offer advice no pressure to do anything else. Kinda doubtful if it’s worth my time though. Already lost over 30 grand on a timeshare deal, really regret ever getting mixed up in it.

They were trying it on an older man, but he was sharp enough to ask around before giving any details. The company they mentioned couldn’t be found anywhere. We clearly said 'no thanks' and ended the call, but the phone rang again so we just ignored it. Then it rang once more and we picked up. It was the same young bloke, who sounded all offended because we hung up on him earlier, saying it wasn’t very polite! That was a new tactic - trying to make me feel guilty. Didn’t bother me though! He kept saying he was a legal advisor but wanted a chat before giving any details. Eventually he said it was about our timeshare, which we haven’t had for over twenty years. Sorted him out quickly.

Got a call just before 8pm on 09/11/2020. The caller knew my name right away and started talking about some "Great News" regarding a claim I could make against a time-share company selling illegally! I don’t own any time-share at all, so I told them I’d already sorted it and didn’t need assistance. They hung up on me suddenly! Feels really sketchy!
