Got a call from someone pushing a tax rebate deal connected to PPI, they got quite pushy when I said I wasn’t up for it. Didn’t hang about and blocked the number straight away.

I didn’t pick up this call as it showed up as a possible scam on my phone. This number isn’t the first one like this, I’ve already blocked loads of similar ones. Any number starting with 0161738 is probably a scam, they just swap out the last four digits. I’ve had at least 5 calls with 0161738 and different endings - all dodgy. Don’t fall for it, it’s the same lot of scammers every time.

Got a call from a woman who sounded Indian or Asian and somehow she already knew my name. She claimed to be calling about legal and tax matters. She talked so fast I had to ask her to say it again. The only person who can get you out of a timeshare is yourself. Just send them a letter clearly stating you want to cancel and make sure you don't owe anything. They'll probably try to scare you with talk of lawsuits but don't fall for it, it's all bluster. Just stick to your guns and eventually they'll stop bugging you.

I've had a few calls from this number. First, they rang my home phone but didn’t bother to leave a voicemail - I usually don’t pick up landline calls anyway. Then they came back and rang my mobile twice more. When I answered the second time, I told them firmly to remove me from their calling list. Received a call today from someone purporting to be affiliated with the Timeshare Advisory Board. What struck me as odd is that they reached out on my office line, which I can’t quite fathom how they managed to get hold of. Naturally, I took to Google to check them out, and let’s just say it raised quite a few red flags!

I’ve missed about 10 calls over the last week, but since I’ve been out, they just went straight to my voicemail. Not a single message left. Feels like pure harassment to me.

Got another call from the timeshare advice group. Told them straight away that under GDPR they’ve no right to keep my data and demanded they erase everything they’ve got on me. The person on the phone tried to say because I own timeshares, I’d already consented, which I know isn't true. I made it clear I’m now revoking that consent and insisted they delete my details. I've put the number on block but I’m betting they’ll just switch it up and ring from somewhere else again soon.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the timeshare council. They wanted to speak to me and my partner by name, which was kinda creepy. Then they asked if we’d sorted out the timeshare yet. I told them they really shouldn't have my info in the first place. These lot say they’ll help you get rid of your timeshare, but then they just charge you without actually doing anything. Proper scammers if you ask me.

Somebody rang claiming to be from an advisory service, asking if I’d arranged my timeshare holiday. I told them I’d actually ended my membership about four years ago. They then asked if I had any documents proving I’d quit, but I just repeated what I’d said before. After that, they said they could help me get out of the timeshare, but I insisted I’d already done that and there was nothing left to discuss. At that point, they just hung up.
