When I requested some proof or official confirmation, they gave me that very number to check. I rang it back and it went straight to voicemail. A quick Google search showed a bunch of warnings about that number. I pressed again for some kind of verification through Microsoft's own site, but the caller just said the work was outsourced and couldn’t be found there.
