Oh dear, it seems like I'm receiving repeated calls from this number without any clear purpose. Quite a nuisance, really! It's frustrating not knowing who's on the other end or why they keep trying to reach me.

I recently found myself chatting on the phone for a staggering 45 minutes with someone claiming to represent Microsoft, insisting that our computer was under siege and being exploited globally. When I pressed for some independent confirmation of their claims, they provided me with the number above. I dialled it, only to be greeted by an answer machine. A quick search on Google revealed that there were numerous issues linked to this number. When I asked again for independent verification, perhaps something from the Microsoft website, the chap just kept rambling on about outsourcing, making the excuse that nothing pertinent would be found online. While he seemed quite convincing, the lack of any means to verify his claims led us to cut the conversation short.

I recently received a rather peculiar call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. Naturally, I was curious about how they obtained my phone number, to which they replied that it was linked to my computer registration. Quite odd, given that I used a different number back then! They proceeded to inform me that my license had been compromised and that my computer was supposedly sending out unsolicited emails. They even provided me with my licence number! I asked for their contact details and decided to look them up online, which led me here. I read their information aloud to them and promptly ended the call. Quite the experience!

It appears that the business goes by the name of CLICK FOR PROTECT or WORLD TECHI. The individual predominantly making these calls seems to be a chap named PATRICK, and it's not uncommon for him to reach out to you daily-at least once. The initial offer is priced around £180 for a three-year period, but if you mention that the cost is a bit steep for you, they may lower it to £80 for the year. Interestingly, if you play your cards right and express financial constraints, you might even find the annual fee dropping to as little as £50.
