Legit companies like Microsoft don’t ring you up out of the blue about computer faults. I just hung up straight away and blocked the number. Would suggest doing the same!

Got a call on Tuesday 1st December, but there was no sound when I answered. I just ended the call and blacklisted the number straight away.

I received a call from this number, claiming that my computer had been compromised. The caller mentioned that someone was using my former name to falsely assert that they had contracted Covid-19 and were soliciting funds. Quite absurd, considering I haven't even switched on my computer in half a year!

I received a message claiming that my Microsoft licence is at risk of being terminated due to my IP address allegedly transmitting viruses to others. It was mentioned that this affects one in every thousand users. Utter nonsense! They provided a lengthy 20-digit number that they insisted I input to confirm its legitimacy. Quite a sinister tactic, if you ask me.

I got a call asking for my missus by name but she wasn’t home. I offered to pass on a message and the bloke said he was from Windows about her laptop. I asked if that meant she’d won a laptop or summat, then he just ended the call.

Got a ring at about 11 this morning, then again just after 2 in the afternoon from some bloke named John claiming he was from Microsoft. He said my laptop had some kind of issue or fault. I told him flat out that I hadn’t asked for any call like this and that I’d be reporting it. Then he tried to scare me by saying my service would get cut off if I didn’t do what he told me. Total scam if you ask me.

Got a call from some guy called David Johnson, yeah right! He sounded Asian and was rambling about Windows cancelling my licence or whatever. Told him I’ve had this call loads of times before and it’s all a load of rubbish. He kept saying my computer would get switched off for good. Absolute scammer! Honestly, these scammers should just be sent back where they came from. Proper con artists, honestly.

Just got a call from 01617 320690, some bloke asking if I had a computer and wanting to check the windows on it. I told him I don’t own one and he hung up right away. Feels like some kind of scam to me, definitely dodgy. This was like 5 minutes ago.

Got a call from some bloke named Dave, sounded Asian or something, saying there was an issue with renewing some licence on my computer. I told him straight up to jog on and used some choice words about him and his whole lot. He then threatened to “send the lads round” or something daft like that. Obviously, it’s a total scam to line the pockets of these kinds of callers and their huge families back in their country. Avoid and block!

Some bloke called Aaron, speaking with an American accent, rang me saying there were problems with my computer licences and that security alerts had been triggered. I told him straight up it was a load of rubbish and that he was probably a scammer, then I ended the call.
