10 yearsI received a call today from someone claiming to be conducting a survey. When I politely asked them to identify themselves and clarify the purpose of their information gathering, they completely bypassed my request and persisted with the same question. I reiterated my need to know what the data would be used for, but they obstinately continued to inquire about my job status. After what felt like a never-ending back and forth, I warned them that I would disconnect the call; to which they ominously suggested they would keep ringing me. Just as I was about to explain that this could be considered harassment, they abruptly ended the call.
