They said they’d sort it on their system anyway. What’s bothering me is I have literally only ever handled this in person at the shop!

It seems that Carphone Warehouse is really keen to push my phone upgrade even though I'm not due until my contract wraps up. Just three weeks before the end date, I received eight calls that I either missed or decided not to take, along with one that I actually answered. The chap on the other end was incredibly insistent, despite my clear indication that I intended to swing by their local shop to sort it out in person. I found his manner rather off-putting; he was exceedingly loud and wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise. In the end, I had to hang up on him.
