A guy with an Indian accent, called himself Steve, rang me claiming to be from HMRC and said I'd be arrested if I didn’t pay them straight away over the phone! Don’t get caught out by this! Really frightening lot! Be super careful, best thing is to just hang up and block the number. Total SCAM!

They told me I’d only partly completed a form about PPI and were checking why I didn’t finish it. When I asked how they got my info from a form I never sent, they just cut me off!

I've been inundated with calls from this individual who claims I'm due a payout exceeding £4,500. They even had the cheek to verify my postcode and house number. However, they insisted that I provide my national insurance number before any funds could be released. When I asked the caller to validate the specifics he’d mentioned in the letter, he flipped out and started hurling expletives at me, including quite a few choice F-bombs.

They are one of those mortgage refund firms, checking if you got charged too much on your mortgage and then try to get some payback. Proper annoying, ringin you like 10 times daily - best just to block them!

Mortgage company called, I asked who they wanted me to send my passport copies, certified of course, to for making a claim on the mortgage. When I mentioned the number looked like a scam, they just hung up on me.
