Got a call from someone saying they were with a company, maybe Qualcomm or something like that, about upgrading my O2 account. Pretty sure it wasn’t actually O2 though.

i get called so many times each day it’s driving me mad, luckily i found on my android i can block the number so calls go straight to voicemail, but annoying thing is i had to save the number as a contact first...

Twice a day, I keep getting calls and it’s really starting to bug me now.

I get calls on both my mobile and landline from this number but I just don’t bother picking up. If it was really something urgent, I’m sure they’d leave a message. Loads of these calls are made by automatic diallers just trying numbers out at random. When you do pick up, they confirm your number is active and then sometimes pass it along to other firms like insurance, utility providers, or even those claims companies. That’s why usually no one speaks when you answer - they’ve already got what they wanted and move on to flogging it elsewhere.
