It was really just the booking office for a photo studio.

I signed my daughter up for a modelling thing and got a call from a number asking to set up a meeting on Thomas Street in Manchester. When we went there, they said I had to pay £350 for the portfolio pictures. I’ve already handed over £100 and my daughter did a bunch of photos, but somehow it feels a bit dodgy to me. Does anyone know anything about this studio? I’m worried cos I still owe £250 and don’t want to get scammed. Any advice would be great.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, kept saying I'd be arrested for tax fraud if I ended the call. Pretty sure it was a phishing scam. Didn’t share any info with them.

This bloke phoned claiming to be from our energy company. I told him to stop calling and hung up. He called back right away, asking why I ended the call. I just said I wasn’t interested. Then he had the nerve to threaten to cut off our power!

Got a call earlier from 0161 724 4214 but missed it. When I tried calling back, they said the number was wrong. Sounds like it could be one of those call centres.
