I keep getting these persistent phone calls, and it’s so frustrating! When I answer, there's just silence on the other end, and if I try to ring back, no one picks up. It’s just another annoying sales pitch trying to pester me. Seriously, something needs to be done about this!

I encountered an exceedingly unpleasant gentleman who was quite abrasive in his manner. He had the audacity to inquire whether I possessed a current account, of all things! He falsely claimed that we had a conversation last week, which I can assure you never happened. When I requested that he remove my details and number from their records, he abruptly terminated the call-utterly ridiculous!

10:54 on the 15th of May, 2015. I received a call from this firm claiming they wanted to engage in a conversation about some government-backed initiative to promote eco-friendly energy. At that point, I mentioned I was registered on the Telephone Preference Service. I then inquired, “How did you come by my number?” The response was that they acquire phone numbers from various suppliers who deal in such data, which is how they obtained mine. I informed her, “According to the Freedom of Information Act, you’re obligated to provide me with the name and contact information of the source from whom you obtained my details, and I intend to discuss this with them.” I provided my email address for her to forward this information. I'm still waiting for a reply.
