So this woman told me the government gives out thousands of pounds, like up to 40% off, for any home improvements if your stuff is older than 10 years. When I asked her for proof or a link to official government papers, she got all defensive and couldn’t show me anything. Honestly, seems like a total scam to me.

Somebody called about home improvements, and when I asked them to send me the details in writing, the lady just hung up on me.
