Got a call from a Manchester number, but I'm up in Scotland. The guy claimed he was from a local energy company. Didn’t even bother to hear me out, just kept reading what sounded like a pre-written script. Ended up blocking him.

Got a load of energy scam calls from 0161 714 0636, so I’ve just gone ahead and blocked the number.

These calls keep coming from loads of similar numbers, like 01612188968, 01613544624, and quite a bunch more. They ring, but never leave a message on the answerphone - they just hang up straight away. I’ve had probably 30 calls like this all from different but very close numbers. Seems like a total waste of time.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with an energy company nearby, chatting about some special deals for homeowners. Funny thing is, they said they were calling from Manchester, and I live over 200 miles away! I told him straight away that I wanted my info deleted because of GDPR rules, and then he just hung up without any sorry or anything. Quite rude!
