I received seven calls from this number before I finally picked up. When I did, the caller claimed I had won six EuroMillions tickets for this Friday's massive £39 million jackpot, supposedly from some competition I hadn't even entered. I'm not one for competitions, as I rarely have any luck with them, so I told them that I might consider purchasing a ticket on my own terms. The caller appeared to be of Asian descent or spoke with an accent suggesting they were from another country. They then probed me as to why I was turning down free tickets, which led me to hang up the phone.

Definitely a dodgy operation! I keep getting calls from them, sometimes as many as four times a day, claiming to be from the Euro Lottery. I've decided to block their number for good!

Received a call on my mobile claiming I’d won some complimentary EuroMillions tickets from a competition I had supposedly entered. Now, I do partake in a fair few competitions, so I was initially intrigued. However, they then mentioned a previous address of mine that’s been sorted for over six years, which set off quite a few warning signals in my mind. Then they insisted on my date of birth to verify that I was over eighteen. At that moment, my instincts kicked in, and I decided to end the conversation right there.
