I got a call from someone claiming I hadn’t settled my taxes and threatened to have me arrested.

There were a couple of calls from this number but I didn’t pick up.

I picked up and could hear loads of noise in the background but nobody actually spoke. Then the line just went dead.

This number called me five times today. I picked up on the third ring but they hung up straight away, yet they kept ringing afterwards. Honestly, something should be done about these calls and I wouldn’t recommend anyone picks up.

Some bloke rang me claiming it was about some kind of ppiwgrn, and I told him I was pretty sure cold calling about this stuff was illegal now. He kept going on and on, trying to confuse me with all this company jargon and whatnot. The annoying thing was, he kept ending every line with my name. I told him to stop that since he didn’t even know me, and then he had the nerve to say he felt sorry for my family! That was the last straw, so I just hung up straight away!
