Got a call from this number earlier. The person said they were with some firm named ‘UK Tariff’, but I looked them up while still chatting and couldn’t find any trace of such a company. They were pushing to switch me over from Sky, saying their deal was cheaper. They even dropped Martin Lewis’s name and talked about full fibre internet to sound legit.

0161 710 5904 called me saying they were from BT. Sounded exactly like a guy from India I spoke to last week with the same spiel. I picked up mostly for a laugh. Best thing is to know when it’s a scam before you get caught. I’ve blocked the number now. Stay safe everyone!

Some dodgy scammer called pretending to be from my bank and nearly tricked me into giving away all my cash.
