i got a call from this guy too, he was saying the same stuff. i just told him straight up that ive never applied for any loans or credit cards or anything like that. then he just hung up on me.

This persistent Asian man was really annoying, he just wouldn’t take the hint even after I’d told him to stop multiple times. He kept ringing back, claiming he had some great offer for me, but never actually explained what it was about. After asking him a few times, he finally said his name was Adam and said he was calling from Manchester. He even had the cheek to call me uneducated for not listening to him. I told him he was being rude and just a nuisance, especially since I’d clearly asked him never to phone this number again.

got a call from some asian guy called adam, he immediately started with "we've sorted your ppi claim and you’re due a payout!" i replied, "that's odd, i never even made a claim." he insisted it wasn’t a scam and tried to convince me he could get my ppi back, even called me stupid for not listening. i quickly ended the call before i said anything rude i might regret.

Had this persistent bloke with an Asian accent ringing me up non-stop, even after I flat out told him to stop. Kept saying he had something "really good" for me but never actually explained what it was. Only after asking him multiple times did he finally say his name was Adam and claimed to be calling from Manchester. He even told me I was uneducated because I wasn’t paying attention to what he was saying. I told him he was being rude and a complete pain for ignoring my clear request to never ring me again.

He called me up asking about any paid off loans or mortgages and brought up PPI. When he gave my address, I asked him where he was calling from. He said Manchester but wouldn’t say exactly where. I ended up blocking the number because I had no clue what he was on about.

Got a call from someone with a thick Indian-Pakistani accent saying I was due some money from a fiance thing. When I asked for more info, he started stumbling over his words. Told him to stop messing about and that it was nonsense, then I ended the call.

Got a call earlier today claiming we qualified for some PPI because of a joint mortgage we supposedly had (which we don’t). They didn’t ask for bank info but said they’d send forms and then refund us. They insisted the money came from paying our mortgage on time, which is rubbish since we cleared it way early. I told them straight up it was a scam and ended the call. They phoned me right back, so I hung up again. At this point, I've got a referee’s whistle ready for if they call once more - gonna give them a proper surprise. These lot are such a pain.

I keep getting calls on my home phone from this 'free debt helpline' supposedly at Sentinel House on Albert Street in Eccles, Manchester, M30 0SS. I just ignore the calls because it’s really irritating. Feels like a scam and pure harassment.
