6 monthsThey said they were from British Gas, but I wasn’t convinced. I kept asking questions and the story kept shifting - at first, they claimed there was an account set up, but when I asked for the account number, they said British Gas doesn’t keep those details. Then suddenly it was all about a contract ending soon and some tariffs they wanted to offer. When I questioned how they knew about the contract ending, things got really strange and they went quiet. I told them we already have a contract and don’t want any deals, then the line just went dead.
