I got a random call from some bloke named Jack, saying he was with a firm promoting Club La Costa. Total cold call, obviously they bought my number off someone to ring me up out of the blue. Honestly, these kinds of calls should be banned.

Gave me a bell a couple of times. The initial call ended abruptly right after I picked up. On the second occasion, I could make out voices in the background - sounded like they were trying their luck on a few other unsuspecting folks as well. I let them know I was onto their little trick, mentioned that I’d informed the police and Ofcom, at which point the caller exclaimed, “Blimey, we’re in hot water,” and promptly ended the call.

As a Time Share owner with Escritura, I was forewarned about the endless fees I'd be expected to fork out. When asked if I grasped what perpetuity meant, I was taken aback! She attempted to convince me to join a Zoom chat with a solicitor. I flatly informed her that my computer is devoid of a camera. Eventually, I made it clear that I had no interest whatsoever. Yet again, I’ve encountered another scheme aimed at siphoning off my hard-earned cash. I've received similar phone calls from multiple companies in the past; they seem utterly incapable of hearing my perspective. For the record, I was not misled in my purchase. I’m not looking to take legal action, as that would jeopardise my Time Share. According to Spanish legislation, my offspring will inherit the burden of maintenance fees once I’m gone. It’s all a con, a con, a con!
