Got a call from this number on 27th April 2018. The person on the other end had a really thick foreign accent which made it hard to catch what they were saying. They came across very unprofessional. I told them straight up that I’ve got no money and I’m not interested in any phone. Kept repeating I had no cash and then they just hung up. Pretty obvious scam from the way they spoke. Saying ‘no money’ is the best way to make them stop bothering you.

I called but there was nothing, just complete silence and no response at all.

They just got the answerphone and then quickly dropped the call, wouldn't say a word.

Avoid o2 - they're just trying to scam you, definitely not someone you can trust.

Is it even possible to get an iPhone 8 Plus on a £33 monthly contract? Sounds a bit dodgy to me, just wondering if anyone knows if this deal is legit or not?

Total ripoff, just block and move on.

Absolutely dodgy! Don’t ever share your bank info with them - just hang up straight away!

I ended up giving them my full card details, including the sort code and account number, since they seemed to already have plenty of info about me and even knew when my contract was up. Do you think this could be some kind of scam?

This number has been ringing me a few times recently. Each time I picked up, they were trying to pitch me a new O2 contract. I only started my O2 business contract about six months ago, so I’m not interested in switching or buying anything new right now. After the third call making the same offer, I decided to get in touch with O2 directly. They told me they hadn’t contacted me and only call when contracts are nearing renewal. Curious, I dug a bit deeper and discovered this caller isn’t actually O2, despite claiming to be from O2 Business. It’s clearly some kind of scam. I’m definitely not going to buy anything from them, even if their offer sounds tempting.

I dealt with the sales team at O2 for businesses. Since I’m already an O2 business client, I decided to upgrade my current number through them. Managed to snag a pretty sweet deal too.

I fell for a scam where I got an email from sales@p2-corporateI###] offering a too-good-to-be-true deal. I stupidly shared my card info, and next thing I knew, loads of money was being taken from my bank. No phone ever turned up. I reported it to O2, who told me it was a fraud case - apparently, someone had used my card to order four contract phones, draining my account. They’ve since filed a police report about the whole thing.

This number just rang me up, turns out it was O2 Telefónica Digital Limited's sales team. They offered a cracking deal not just for me but for my mate too. We're both pretty chuffed with the price and the deal overall.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from O2's Telesales team. They offered me a few phone contracts at really low rates. I ended up signing up for three of them and honestly, I’m pretty pleased with the deals I got. They seem to be a third party, but from my experience, there’s no scam involved.

Got a call from these people earlier today. They said I was listed as a business customer in their system and offered me an iPhone 7, plus they'd pay off my Vodafone contract. I got suspicious and immediately looked up the number online before telling them no. It just seemed far too good to be real!! Definitely a scam.

Just got a phone call from this lot today, apparently I’m listed as one of their business clients or something. They said they’d sort me out with an iPhone 7 and pay off my Vodafone contract. I thought it sounded a bit dodgy, so I looked up the number on my PC and said no thanks. Felt like one of those deals that’s just too good to be real!

Heads up! Got a call from 0161 705 5000 claiming to be O2, but it was totally dodgy. They even emailed me from sales@o2-corporate(###], which looked official at first. When I rang O2 directly, they said they had no connection with those people and warned me to be careful if I chose to engage. Digging deeper, I found out it’s a scam run by a call centre in India - the woman on the phone, Ria, had a clear Indian accent. Seriously, don’t hand over any bank details or personal info to these guys - it’s all identity theft waiting to happen. Stay careful!

Just a heads up, there’s a major scam going around. I got a call from 0161 705 5000 claiming to be O2. They even emailed me from [email protected]. When I rang O2 to check, they said that number and email have nothing to do with them and warned me if I deal with them, it’s completely at my own risk. I looked into it more and found out it’s a scam, run by a call centre in India. The woman who called me was called Ria and had a clear Indian accent. Be careful and don’t share any bank or personal details with them or it could lead to identity theft.

I got a call from this number offering a great mobile package deal, but then they asked for all my credit card info. Something felt fishy so I rang my bank straight away and cancelled my card. When I asked them for my order number, they never replied. Feels like a scam to me. Honestly, I’d steer clear of this number!

I got a call from someone claiming to be part of O2's Mobile Sales team. They offered a great deal on a phone plan, but then asked me to give my credit card info for a supposed 'one time payment'. I said no thanks and hung up.

So these ppl are total scammers. They rang me saying they were from O2, offering me a phone deal. Then I got a message that looked like it was from O2 too, all official and stuff. I gave them my info coz I thought it was legit. But a few days later, like 3 or 4, they took £130 straight from my bank. In my statement it showed I had bought loads of games like Minecraft and Asphalt 7 or something. Just a heads up, watch out for these folks! Cheers.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from O2’s sales team, telling me I could switch up to an iPhone 7 even tho my contract isn’t due to finish til December 2017. They asked me to send back my old phone when I get the new one and weirdly wanted my bank details again, which didn’t make sense since O2 already takes money from my account every month. The person on the line had a foreign accent too, which felt off because O2 don’t use overseas call centres.

I've come across some dodgy dealings lately. There are individuals posing as representatives from O2, trying to lure you in with offers, only to wipe out your bank account as soon as you share your banking information. Stay vigilant, everyone!
