Got a call from this number on 27th April 2018. The person on the other end had a really thick foreign accent which made it hard to catch what they were saying. They came across very unprofessional. I told them straight up that I’ve got no money and I’m not interested in any phone. Kept repeating I had no cash and then they just hung up. Pretty obvious scam from the way they spoke. Saying ‘no money’ is the best way to make them stop bothering you.

I called but there was nothing, just complete silence and no response at all.

They just got the answerphone and then quickly dropped the call, wouldn't say a word.

I provided my lengthy card number, sort code, and account number, which contain all my personal information including details about my contract expiration date. Could this be considered fraudulent activity?

I am a business customer of O2 and recently availed their services to upgrade my existing number. The Business Sales Department of O2 provided me with a great deal.

I fell for a scam where I got an email from sales@p2-corporateI###] offering a too-good-to-be-true deal. I stupidly shared my card info, and next thing I knew, loads of money was being taken from my bank. No phone ever turned up. I reported it to O2, who told me it was a fraud case - apparently, someone had used my card to order four contract phones, draining my account. They’ve since filed a police report about the whole thing.

Recently, I received a call from the Telesales Department of O2. I decided to sign up for three phone contracts as they offered very affordable prices. I am pleased to say that I am quite satisfied with all of my contracts. It is important to note that the Telesales Department is a third-party provider, but I can assure you that they are not involved in any fraudulent activities.

Today, I received a phone call from them informing me that I was listed as one of their business customers. They claimed they could provide me with an iPhone 7 and even take over my contract with Vodafone. However, being cautious, I immediately went online to verify the number and declined the offer. It seemed too good to be legitimate! It turned out to be a fraudulent scheme.

Today, I received a phone call from them. They informed me that I was listed as one of their business customers. They claimed that they were willing to provide me with an iPhone 7 and cover the cost of terminating my contract with Vodafone. Once again, there is an irritating nuisance call where the phone rings and disconnects before there is an opportunity to answer it.

Heads up! Got a call from 0161 705 5000 claiming to be O2, but it was totally dodgy. They even emailed me from sales@o2-corporate(###], which looked official at first. When I rang O2 directly, they said they had no connection with those people and warned me to be careful if I chose to engage. Digging deeper, I found out it’s a scam run by a call centre in India - the woman on the phone, Ria, had a clear Indian accent. Seriously, don’t hand over any bank details or personal info to these guys - it’s all identity theft waiting to happen. Stay careful!

Caution! There is a significant scam underway. I recently received a phone call from the number 0161 705 5000 and was informed that the caller was from O2. Furthermore, they sent me an email from the address [email protected]. To verify the authenticity of this claim, I contacted O2 directly. Surprisingly, they confirmed that they have no association with this particular company and warned me to proceed at my own risk if I chose to engage with them. Upon conducting further investigations, it became evident that this organization is fraudulent. Their call centre is located in India as the representative, by the name of Ria, had an Indian accent. Take caution and refrain from sharing your bank details or any personal information with them, as they may use it for identity theft or fraudulent purposes.

I received a call from someone who offered me a great deal on a mobile phone package. However, they asked for all the details of my credit card. Feeling suspicious, I immediately contacted my bank and cancelled any potential charges. Unfortunately, I have not received any response from them regarding my order number. It seems highly likely that they are engaged in fraudulent activity. I would strongly advise everyone to stay away from this particular phone number.

Beware of these deceivers! They called me pretending to be from O2, claiming to offer me a new phone. To build my trust, they even sent me messages that appeared to be from O2. Unfortunately, when I felt reassured, I shared my personal details with them. After about 3 or 4 days, I discovered £130 had been deducted from my bank account. Astonishingly, my bank statement showed purchases for various games such as Mindcrafts and Asphalt 7. It is important to be cautious and not fall prey to these fraudulent activities. Stay safe!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from the O2 sales department, who insisted that I could upgrade my iPhone 5 to an iPhone 7. However, my contract is set to continue until December 2017. The caller also requested for me to send my current phone back to them after receiving the new one, and asked for my bank details. This was puzzling, as O2 already has my bank details on file since they deduct the monthly charges from my account. It is worth noting that O2 does not operate foreign call centres, yet the person on the other end of the line had an accent suggesting otherwise.

I've come across some dodgy dealings lately. There are individuals posing as representatives from O2, trying to lure you in with offers, only to wipe out your bank account as soon as you share your banking information. Stay vigilant, everyone!
