They called me claiming they were handling my personal injury claim for a car accident I was involved in. When I asked where they got my information from, they refused to explain and I told them that contacting me without permission breaks GDPR rules. Honestly, it felt like they must have got my details in some dodgy way. Just a warning - don’t give them any details if they ring you up out of the blue like this, they’re clearly fishing for info unlawfully.
