Got a call from some automated voice claiming it was amazon saying I’d purchased an iphone for over £350 and that the payment had been taken from my account. Then it said if I had any questions, press 1. Seriously, 1) I wouldn’t own an iphone if you paid me! 2) I’ve been an amazon customer for years and never had a dodgy call like this before. 3) No way have I bought an iphone, so I’m about to ring amazon myself and then probably report this to the police. Just thought I’d share the number here so no one else falls for this trick. Whatever you do, don’t press 1!
