Somebody rang claiming to be from Virgin Media, saying my internet was having issues with the speeds dropping. They insisted I use my phone, not my PC, to install “ANYDESK” on my smartphone. I watch the BBC’s “SCAM INTERCEPTORS” show and they always say never to download “ANYDESK” because it lets scammers take full control of your device. Plus, if the problem’s with the internet, why bother using your phone for it? It’s super risky. Just hang up straight away!
