Got a call claiming to be from HMRC, said I was in serious trouble and needed to ring them back. It sounded dodgy from the start because the person had a strong American accent and kept talking about some kind of police unit. Definitely a scam, best to just hang up and not bother with it.

Got a voicemail on my cell saying 'Return call HMRC' so I rang back. The bloke on the phone started threatening me, saying they’d seize my stuff and freeze my bank account over some money issue. Got a call on my mobile, which I never share, from an automated voice saying it was HM Revenue and Customs. They were threatening me and told me to get a lawyer and ring them back.
