He claimed to be following up on an email sent about a week prior. His command of English left much to be desired, and when probed about the company's name, it was unclear though it might have been "Growth Assist." The caller seemed rather hesitant to share specific details about his call, merely mentioning something about marketing. He claimed they were a marketing firm based in Manchester that could provide something complimentary which would save us some quid. I let him know that if they had indeed sent an email and piqued our interest, we would be in touch when we had a moment. A quick scout on the internet reveals that their website, <https://www.growth-assist.co.uk/>, points to an offshoring outfit. Not really applicable to what we do. I've actually received calls from this number before, with previous callers claiming to represent a "Gekko" regarding tech and operational platforms, or "Growth Co."
