They kept saying it was about a policy my mum supposedly has. She’s never shared any info with them at all. When they rang last time, they asked if her policy was still valid, she said yes, but didn’t give any more details. Then they just ended the call, which felt really odd.

I received a call at precisely 1:10 PM on the 3rd of December, 2020. I picked up the phone, only for the caller to remain silent for a mere ten seconds before abruptly hanging up. There wasn’t a word exchanged at all. Quite odd, really.

01616847751 called me, a bloke. Said he’d got my number from some Road Traffic Management lot. He claimed I had some kind of payout waiting from a recent car crash that wasn’t my fault. But he couldn’t give me any specifics about the accident. I told him he was just wasting both our time. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I managed to get a word in when I asked where he got my number and he said from the DVLA. I told him I was on the do not call list so he shouldn’t be ringing me. Funny enough, my phone flagged the call in red as "Possible Scam." Figured I’d play along for a laugh but he wasn’t very confident, so it wasn’t much fun really.
