The caller had the audacity to request my surname along with the initial line of my address! They claimed there was some dire need to cancel my computer licence, asserting it had been flagged on their server with hackers supposedly utilising it to dispatch bogus donation requests to my mates. They urged me to hop onto my PC so they could supposedly enlighten me about the situation. When I expressed my scepticism and demanded they erase my number from their records, the lady flatly refused and abruptly terminated the conversation. Honestly, it's infuriating!
