This is the second occasion they've rung me, pretending to be O2. Feels like a total scam to me - I just declined the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from an Indian bloke saying he was calling from some government debt help service. He claimed he could sort out my debts, but when I asked how they had my info, he couldn’t really say. Kept insisting the government could help me pay off my debts, but I have none! Asked him to provide more info, but he dodged it. Told him to take me off their list and blocked the number. If I had any debts, I'd be getting letters or bailiffs knocking, not some random calls.

This number has rung me at least 16 times about a car crash from over a year ago, which, as far as I'm concerned, had zero connection to them. Everything was sorted and paid for ages ago with no issues. A couple of times I played along, and they passed me to their lawyer to pursue a claim. But the lawyer just told me there was no case and seemed quite annoyed with the company for troubling them with it. Total waste of time.

I received a phone call regarding a 25% fee on my personal injury case. When I inquired about their identity and the purpose of their call, I was met with vague responses. I expressed my disbelief, questioning how they could possibly impose a 25% charge when the matter isn’t even settled yet. At that point, they abruptly terminated the call. Definitely a scam - best to avoid engaging with them.
