My phone’s blocked list is totally full now, can’t handle these pests anymore. Honestly, I’m fed up with these annoying calls. I’m ex-directory and signed up with TPS, yet they keep ringing. Sometimes I wish I could join the phone squad and bother them back just to see how it feels! Grrr, so frustrating!

Missed this call earlier, but if it’s one of those “We’re calling about an accident you supposedly had recently” scams, I always say, “Which one exactly?” like I've had a few. When they can’t come up with proper info (because, obviously, I haven’t), I ask what company they're representing so I can look them up online. If they then want my personal details, I ask for theirs first - seems only fair, right? Best reply I’ve gotten so far was “You’re handling this all wrong, mate,” which clearly isn’t part of their script. Proper funny stuff!
